Welcome to the Summary of the Story of "Princess Pearl"!!

The story starts off when Ziwei (later named Princess Ruby) goes to Beijing after her mother's death in search of her Illegitimate father, the king of China with her servant Jin Suo. But when they arrive in Beijing, they find that the palace is not a very easy place to enter. While trying to talk to an official, they meet Xiao Yan Zi ( later named Princess Pearl) who was trying to steal gold from a wedding. Later on Zi Wei and Xiao Yan Zi becomes best friends and sworn sisters. Ziwei and Jin Suo move into the abandoned home where Xiao Yan Zi lives. Zi Wei shows Xiao Yan Zi her proof that she is the King's daugher and they make plans to meet the king. The only way to meet the King would be to go to his favorite area, the hunting area, the place where he goes every year. But they would have to climb over a mountain to meet him. On the way up, Zi Wei gets hurt and sends Xiao Yan Zi up there. On the mountain, the 5th prince mistakens her for a deer and shoots her. The king looks in her bag, finds the evidence and assumes she is his daughter before she is conscious. When she regains consciousness, she is trapped! She tries to meet Zi Wei to explain to her that she didn't purposely take her place to become royalty. She and the 5th prince, and the two bodyguards: Er Tai and Er Kang become friends. Zi Wei sees Xiao Yan Zi in the Procession and runs after it. She gets cruelly beaten. But Er Kang feels sorry for her, takes her home and listens to her story. They confront Xiao Yan Zi and they meet. Zi Wei and Er Kang fall in love. Later On, they sneak Zi Wei and Jin Suo into the palace as servants. Where the queen stabs Zi Wei with needles. The king falls in love with, a man and who is 55 years old, and Ziwei only 18 years old. On a trip to the countryside, the 5th prince and Xiao Yan Zi fall in love. Zi Wei gets stabbed on the way back to the palace. The emperor of Xi Jiang stops by for a visit and his daughter, Sia, falls in lovewith Er Kang. Xiao Yan Zi couldn't stand Zi Wei pain in her heart. So she runs up to the king and tells him the whole truth, that she's not her real daughter and that Ziwei was. The King puts her, Zi Wei and Jin Suo in jail. They are whipped and tortured to admit that they are guilty. Then Er Kang, Er Tai, the 5th prince, Liu Qing and Liu Hong (who are friends of Xiao yan Zi's forge the king's signature and saves them. They run about a mile before going back, realizing that they can't live their lives by running away. They go back. The king forgives them and makes Zi Wei a Princess like Xiao Yan Zi. The couples are engaged. Er Tai flirts with Sia and they fall in love and get engaged too. Everything is perfect.

How did this all happen?

The story of Princess Pearl happened in the Qing dynasty. The emperor was a man full of love, when he was out of the palace he met a peasant's daughter, named Xia yu he, and fell in love with her. When he left he promised her that he'll be back in 3 months to take her to the palace. Months turned into years, but the emperor did not come back and he did not know that Xia yu he was pregnant. 19 years later, xia yu he suddenly died. Before her death she told her 18-year old daughter, Zi wei, that the king is her father. Xia yu he told Zi wei to take her servant/friend Jin suo and a fan plus a painting to Beijing to prove and to find the king and ask him this question: Do you still remember meeting Xia yu he on the riverbanks of Jinan 19 years ago? Because of what happened when the king was young, that was how this amazing story started.
